Vice President - Tax*
Larry Kurland joined Ingersoll Rand in June 2006, as vice president – tax. Larry has the responsibility for all aspects of tax and the global tax organization, and serves as a key member of the corporate finance team.
Prior to Ingersoll Rand, Larry worked at AT&T Corp. for 15 years, where he was vice president – taxes and tax counsel. Before joining AT&T, Larry spent 7 years practicing tax law, including 5 years with the firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he was responsible for the tax aspects of a variety of complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, financings, reorganizations, spin-offs and recapitalizations.
Larry received a bachelor of arts degree from Franklin &
Marshall College in 1979. He also received a J.D. degree from George
Washington University and a Masters in Tax Law (L.L.M.) from

Evan Turtz was elected secretary of Ingersoll Rand in October 2013.
He also serves as the company’s vice president and deputy general
counsel for the Industrial Segment. Prior to being appointed deputy
general counsel in 2008, Evan was assistant general counsel for the
Evan joined Ingersoll Rand in 2004. Before joining Ingersoll Rand, he was an attorney at the law firm, McCarter & English, LLP in Newark, NJ.
Evan received a bachelor of science degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst (1990), and a government certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (1989). He also earned a juris doctor degree from Washington University School of Law (St. Louis, 1993).
Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer*
Chris Kuehn joined Ingersoll Rand in June 2015, as vice president
and chief accounting officer. Chris serves as the company’s principal
accounting officer and is responsible for strategic leadership and
oversight of financial reporting, operational finance and technical
accounting at Ingersoll Rand.
Chris joins Ingersoll Rand from Whirlpool Corporation where he served for three years as vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Prior to Whirlpool, Chris spent six years at SPX Corporation, most recently serving as chief financial officer for the thermal equipment and services segment of SPX. He was at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 12 years before SPX Corporation serving in financial leadership positions.
Chris holds an MBA from University of Rochester and a bachelor's degree in accounting from State University of New York College at Geneseo. Chris is a certified public accountant.
